Managing Employee Attendance with the Event List

The Event List feature in KAMI allows you to view and manage detailed employee schedules, actual in/out times, and other related attendance data. This is useful for administrators and managers to track employee attendance, tardiness, absences, and more, ensuring that workforce management is efficient and accurate.

General Navigation



  • Event Summary - An overview of employees' scheduled hours, actual hours worked, tardiness, and absences for a selected period. 
  • Search Employees - to easily look for a specific employee
  • Date Selector - filter the report by range of date

  • Filters - filter the schedule by:

    • Department

    • Branch

    • Position 

    • Group

    • Activity - to filter reports by on-work or off-work activities

    • Subsidiary

    • Cost Centre

    • Holiday Type - to display events that were tagged during holiday and rest day premium

    • Is remote - to display events with remote check-in and out

    • Is offline - to display events with offline check-in and out

    • Timezone - use if you have employees who are in another timezone

    • Active only - enable if you don't want to see events of terminated employees

  • Remote Check-ins - a map location report to view employee location when they record remote attendance



Amending an Event within the Event List

To amend an event, click on a specific event within the Event List. If you have permission, you can directly SAVE amendments without approval. If approval is required, you will see the REQUEST action instead.

Performing Bulk Actions on Attendance

Perform actions on multiple events at once for greater efficiency:


  • Bulk Event Edit allows you to edit all selected events.
    • Amend: Update only the selected fields, leaving others unchanged.
    • Overwrite: Replace all fields with new event details, leaving unfilled fields blank.
  • Delete Selected allows you to delete the selected events.
  • Refresh Selected will refresh the selected events to update with current activity and profile settings.
  • Convert to Leave all selected working events to leave events, such as turning overtime into vacation leave.
    • Choose the leave activity type and click SUBMIT.
    • The conversion details window will show how many events were successfully converted, along with any rejections or errors.
    • Converted events will reflect in the Leave Balance.




How to Export Attendance Reports

To generate and export attendance data:

  1. Go to the Export tab and select your preferred file format (CSV or Excel). 
  2. Choose the data fields to include in your report:
    • Employee: Name and employment details
    • Activity: Activity name, holiday type, and event dates
    • Schedule: Shift times, attendance policies (core hours, OT window)
    • Options: Remote check-in data, check-in location (latitude/longitude), IP addresses
    • Timekeeping: Timestamps for actual check-ins/outs, tardiness, absences, and undertime
  3. Click SELECT ALL FIELDS to include all available data in the report.
