Bulk upload and download all Employee Data with ease.
Data Access Rights
Access to Bulk Data feature
Users must be provided access rights in Bulk Data.
- VIEW - enables ability to Export data
- EDIT - enages ability to Export and Import data
Caution - high security should be observed over those who are provided rights
Access to types of Employee Information
Employee data is further separated into sections to provide more control and security over bulk data. Users must be authorized for each section in My Team User Rights, as follows.

Access to specific Employee information
User's visibility over specific employees within My Team is further restricted by their Team Org > Access Rights.
Exporting Data
You can limit the data by filtering your My Team dashboard with employees you only wish to see.
Then click Bulk Data to export the Sections for the employees you wish to see.
If you have User Rights for all Sections, you will be able to export the Master Profile Export which contains all employee information in a single file.
Importing Data
To import data you can either
- Amend a previously exported KAMI data file and reimport here
- Download a template to start from scratch
Field List
List of necessary data you may want to import to KAMI can be found in the article guide below.
Create Employee (Required Data)
Start adding new employees with as little data as you like.
- First Name - Required
- Employee ID - add your internal Employee ID. If there is no Employee ID, it will automatically be generated to KAMI ID.
- Company Email / Mobile Number - Either email or mobile is required.
Must include + country code
- User Rights - always added as "Employee" to only provide basic system access as default.
- All Other Data - may also be provided whilst creating employees.
All employees will be added as "Active" by default. But the employee will not have any access to the system until you formally INVITE them to the system.
Managing Data
Once you have created employees, you may update their data in bulk anytime.
- Employee ID - must include to recognize who's data you are updating.
- Email / Mobile Number - used for login credentials and password security in KAMI.
- Departments, Positions, Groups, Branches, and Cost Centers - if they don't exist, added to the system manually by import.
- Dates - format dates as YYYY-MM-DD
- Data Details - access these articles to understand what each data field is in detail.

- Profile Employee - Team Org
- Profile Employee - Attendance
- Profile Employee - Payroll
- Custom Fields - add any custom data field to employee profiles as you wish.
IMPORTANT - You may also manage your bulk employee data via the Profile Manager as an alternative to using import worksheets.
Append VS Overwrite
- Append - Only data that is provided will be added; blank cells will be ignored
- Overwrite - Replaces all existing data.
WARNING: Any blank cells in the import file will cause existing data to be PERMANENTLY DELETED
- Import Notifications- KAMI will send you an email and browser notification once the import process is complete.
- Success! - notification will state how many files were successfully uploaded.
- Failure - a detailed report of where the import failed will be provided, so make amendments and import again.
