Liquidate any excess or shortfall of actual expenses based on the advance amount.
Liquidating Advance (Web)
Once the employee is done updating their advances with actual receipts, you may now process the liquidation by following the steps below.
Step 1: In Team Expenses >Claims, approve or decline the edited Expense Advances
Once claims are approved, the status will become Pending Liquidation. Go to Advances tab to process liquidation.
Step 2: Filter by Pending Liquidation then process Advance Liquidation
- Only approved advances that have been selected for bulk approvals will be included here.
- The Bulk Approvals page will show a brief overview of the Total Approved Advances and Total Liquidation amount.
Select your preferred Payment Method which can be through Payroll, Bank Transfer, Cash or Cheque. If Payroll, ensure that the Batch is either in Open or Pending status for Expense Advance to be included.
Step 3: Confirm
Once payment is confirmed, a success browser notification will appear that advances were liquidated successfully.
All Liquidated Expense Advances will appear as Liquidated status in the Advances page. If payroll batch was selected, go to the batch where it was included and check the Other Payments section.
