Disciplinary actions are formal measures taken by an organization in response to employee misconduct or violation of company policies.


Know how to create disciplinary actions and apply it to employees to correct undesirable actions.

Before adding Disciplinary Actions, ensure that the Discipline Types are all set up.



Add Disciplinary Action


On Employee's Profile >Employment, find the Disciplinary Actions section.




Complete the following

  • Reference Date - date the disciplinary action occurred
  • Start Date - beginning of disciplinary period
  • End Date - end of disciplinary period
  • Discipline Types - the types you created in My Team Settings
  • Disciplinary Warning Level - stages of corrective actions
    • Verbal Warning
    • First Written Warning
    • Second Written Warning
    • Final Written Warning without Suspension
    • Final Written Warning with Suspension
    • Termination
  • Disciplinary Offense Level - list of the severity and frequency of the infraction
    • First Offense
    • Second Offense
    • Third Offsense
  • Disciplinary Notice - a document or memo in relation to the corrective action
  • Remarks - comment or description


Once done, a Disciplinary Action added will like the below.



The custom document attached on the discipline type will be automatically emailed to the employee for their record.
