The KAMI Tablet offers a seamless and secure touchless login feature using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology paired with Face ID. Employees can easily check in and out with an NFC card, ensuring efficient attendance tracking.
Before You Begin
- An Administrator must log in to the tablet to activate the NFC check-in method.
- Ensure your NFC card meets these specifications:
- Frequency: 13.56 MHz
- Communication Protocol: ISO/IEC 14443
Registering an NFC Card
- Follow the on-screen instructions on the KAMI tablet to begin registration.
- Enter your mobile number to receive a one-time PIN (OTP).
- Include the country code when entering your number.
- Set a unique password after verifying your mobile number.
- Minimum of 8 characters, including at least one number and one symbol.
- Position your face within the on-screen circle to register Face ID.
- The tablet will automatically take a photo after a 3-second countdown and repeat for verification.
- Place your NFC card on the tablet’s NFC scanner.
- Tap the card again to confirm registration. A confirmation message will appear.
- Once your NFC card is registered, you will be prompted to register your fingerprints.
Using NFC for Touchless Check-In
Once you're done setting up your account, you may now start using the NFC card for touchless check-in to KAMI tablet!
Scan Your NFC Card
- Place your NFC card on the tablet’s NFC scanner.
Face ID Verification
- Follow the on-screen prompt to position your face for verification.
- Remain still as the tablet automatically takes a photo.
Automatic Check-In
- After verification, your schedule will auto-confirm within 5 seconds.
- Tap “Cancel” if you don’t wish to proceed with check-in.
Repeat the same process to check out.
What if I Forgot my NFC Card?
If you forget your NFC card, tap FORGOT NFC on the tablet. You’ll be prompted to use your registered fingerprint for check-in or check-out.
By leveraging NFC and Face ID, the KAMI tablet provides a secure, efficient, and user-friendly attendance experience.
