KAMI Workforce enables you to personalize user-defined fields in the system that your company wishes to track.
Adding Custom Fields
When adding new fields to your database, keep in mind the following parameters!
Name* – Name that will be displayed on the user interface.
Variable* - programming name that is used by the system.
This field cannot include any spaces. Use the underscore symbol instead (for example, regularization_date).
Type* - specifies the data format for a field, such as whole number, date, text, list, and so on.
Source - If the type is "List", enter the list of dropdown selections. .
Use a comma to separate the values.
Order - order of display.
For example, suppose you have three custom fields in the system and want one of them to appear first before the other two.
Level* - Determine where you want this custom field to be displayed
Section* - The section from your chosen "level" will display the custom field. For example:
Min/Max Value - If the Type is set to whole number, decimal, date, or text, the lowest and maximum permitted values are displayed.
If the minimum and maximum values are identical, it indicates that it is an exact value, and the field's value (or length if text) should exactly equal that number.
Unique - Enable this if the same value cannot exist in two separate profiles.
Such as identification numbers
Required - Enable if the Custom Field must be filled in
Custom Fields that were added on employee profile will also be included on the employee data report upon your export.
