KAMI Workforce allows you to customize user-defined fields in the system that your company wishes to track.
Adding Custom Fields
Take note of the following specifications when creating new fields to your database!
Name* – name that will appear on the user interface.
Variable* - programming name that is used by the system.
This field cannot contain any spaces. Use the underscore sign instead (Ex: regularization_date)
Type* - determines field's data format such as whole number, date, text, list, etc.
Source - if the type is "List", input the list of dropdown options.
Use a comma to separate the values.
Order - order of their display.
For instance, you have added three custom fields in the system and you want one of those to come first before the other two.
Level* - determine where you want this custom field will be displayed.
Section* - section from your chosen "level" where the custom field will be displayed. For example:
Min/Max Value - minimum and maximum acceptable values if whole number, decimal, date, or text is selected in Type.
If both min value and max value have the same number, that means that it's an exact value and field's value (or length if text) should exactly match that number.
Unique - enable this if the same value cannot exist for 2 different profiles.
Such as identification numbers
Custom Fields that were added on employee profile will also be included on the employee data report upon your export.
