There are certain situations wherein employees may cancel or adjust their requested time-off. For such scenario Admin/Approver has the capability to edit, cancel and/or delete employee leave request.

Once employee's leave request has been approved by the manager, employee cannot cancel the leave request on their leave tab but the manager can edit or delete the leave request on behalf of the employee.
Just hover the mouse in the leave row then click the
- Edit / pencil button if employee wish to adjust the leave requested date
Example: Employee applied for 2 days leave (May 19 & 20) and got approved, then suddenly employee retracted her May 20 leave since she has the capacity to work again. Manager can edit the leave record by changing the end date of the leave request, then click submit button. - Delete button if employee wish to cancel or no longer use the approved leave request.
Example: If employee file for leave but decided not to continue her leave request. Manager can just click the delete button and the leave request will automatically disappear in leave record. - Leave balance that was deducted will be returned to the employee leave activity
Note: After deleting the approved leave, employee will no longer have any activity on that date. If the employee will work on the supposed leave date, he/she need to request a working event OR manager/event scheduler need to create working activity for the employee.
On the other hand, there are also certain situations wherein employee's/requestor's wish to cancel their pending leave request due to a some reasons, they may do so by clicking the cancel button.
Note: Approver can always cancel pending leave request on behalf of the employee/requestor.
