With KAMI, each working event is tracked, calculated and recorded with a high-degree of detail to ensure accurate payroll wage calculations.

Working Time

Time worked is calculated as per the following example.

Actual Hours is the employee timekeeping stamps recorded from the KAMI mobile or table bio-metric attendance applications.

Tardy

Tardy is calculated separately for Tardy-in, Break Tardy and Undertime.

  • Tardy-in - Checking in late to work
  • Break Tardy :
    • Fixed Break- Employee may only take break during specified break hours
    • Flexible Break- Employee may take break anytime during the work day
  • Undertime - Check-out prior to scheduled end time

  • Absent - If the employee fails to either check-in or check-out to work

Absent is calculated as the number of Scheduled Hours divided by the employee's Expected Working Hours per Day.

Paid Time

  • Regular Time - Total Scheduled Hours less total Tardy or Absent hours
  • Overtime Window - Any time recorded during Overtime Window to be paid at an alternate wage rate
  • Night Shift - Time will be calculated automatically if the night differential on the Activities is filled

If there will be a set overtime window to employee, checkout time will prompt at end of Overtime Window
